Established 30 years ago this mature resort offers 36 holes of golf including the cliftop world famous 7th hole, Barringtons Sports and Leisure Club, a social centre by the excellent beach, known as the Praça, is the focal point for teenagers with shops, restaurants, cafes, bars, disco and the rotunda pool.
There is a sellection of excellent restaurants and lively night clubs at both Vale do Lobo and the nearby Quinta do Lago. The Buganvilia shopping centre is also a popular meeting place.
Within 15 minutes drive are local market towns, old fashioned Portuguese and a wide range of restaurants. The David Lloyd tennis centre, 2 water slide parks and the Vilamoura marina are 15 min. away. Faro Airport is 20 minutes drive.
